Swimming at Pop and DeDe's

Pop and DeDe got a pool last summer. We have been over at their house swimming a lot! Charlie usually tuckers out before too long and ends up taking a nap in the shade on her Dora couch.

I took these pictures when we were singing. It was the first time Charlie did the "then your face will surely show it" part. Sweetness! :)

My future's so bright....

YUCK!

Charlie and I were hanging out in the backyard. I was pulling weeds, while she walked around checking everything out. Then I hear her say, "Ah!" Just like she usually does when she takes a big drink. I look to see her standing next to this, the dogs' water bucket, with a wet face. I told her "No, no. That is yucky." and move her away from the water. A few minutes later I hear the same, "Ah!" Guess it doesn't taste as bad as it looks.

IHOP

I love some IHOP! I'm so glad that Charlie inherited genetic trait. Ha! I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that Ryan and I ate at IHOP at least once a week when I was pregnant. We shared the all-you-can-eat pancakes, and Ryan gave Charlie some of the whipped cream off of his pancakes. :)

Spaghetti

Since she started eating real food Charlie hasn't liked pasta in any form. She didn't even like mac and cheese! What kid doesn't like mac and cheese?! But when she saw that I had spaghetti and wasn't offering any to her, she suddenly became interested.

Looks like we need to keep working on the table manners...

First Booster Seat

Power outage

Our power was out after all of the storms and tornados that came through a couple of weeks ago. We stayed with both of the grandparents during that time. Here are a few pictures from that Saturday.

Charlie, Aunt Sarah, DeDe, and I went to see the lions at UNA.

Charlie's second cousin Addison was staying at the Farm and she brought her Barbie Jeep. Charlie was pumped! A big kid to play with and a toy that you can ride in...she was in heaven!

We stayed the night with Pop and DeDe last week. While Charlie wasn't interested in her food, she was very interested in what Pop was eating. He was nice enough to share.
