Skype

Charlie is so advanced that she is now skyping! Ha! Here are some pictures Aunt Jelly took during our very first Skype experience. Aunt Jelly got to see Charlie walk all by herself for the first time while we were talking.

The other night Charlie had a poopie just before bath time, so instead of putting a new diaper on her I just let her play naked for a little while. She loved it! Unfortunately, this is the only picture Ryan would approve for the blog....None of the other ones were inappropriate he just doesn't want any picture where you can tell she's naked on here. He's being a protective daddy. :)

Charlie turned one early this month. I know everyone says it, but I am amazed at how quickly this past year has gone by. Charlie has changed so much and so quickly! She has her own personality and determination. I never realized how my much life could change, and I don't mind the changes because of the joy and love that has come with them. But I do now have a whole new appreciation and love for my mom! I'm so thankful that God has blessed us with Charlie.

Happy 1st Birthday Charlie! I love you more than you'll ever know!

Snow Day!

Last night it snowed a lot, so we couldn't go to work today! Charlie was being a night owl so we took her outside to see the snow. I gave Charlie some snow to taste, and she wasn't crazy about it. We went out in the snow today and played a little. I can't believe how much snow we got! Everything looked beautiful. Charlie wasn't too sure about the snow and didn't want to get down in it. We are planning on playing some more tomorrow. Maybe she'll be more used to it by then. We are off work tomorrow too, so we will get to be with Charlie on her first birthday. :)

Birthday Party

We had Charlie's first birthday party Saturday. Her grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles all came to celebrate. We had a lot of fun! Charlie wasn't too sure about her cake at first, but she got in to it a little. She just wanted to use one finger to eat it. She did share her cake with some people. The only person she didn't want to share with was me!
