Girls' Day Out

Monday Charlie and I met Aunt Jelly at Bridge Street. We went to lunch and shopped a little. Charlie and I watched Aunt Jelly while she tried on clothes...well I watched Aunt Jelly...Charlie on the other hand was a little enamored with herself .

Sunday Lunch

Sunday we went to lunch with Grant, Leslie, and Xan. Charlie and Xan had fun "talking" to each other and showing each other all of the noises they can make. They are great entertainment!

First Time...

I love IHOP! Saturday we took Charlie to IHOP for the first time...I'm such a goober for taking pictures! Charlie had a great time people watching. By the way, they currently have all you can eat pancakes. Thankfully Ryan stopped me before I got too carried away.

First Tooth

If you look closely you can see Charlie's first tooth.

Just for Daddy

When I saw this hat I knew I had to get a picture of Charlie wearing it for Ryan....Of course he loves it!

Figuring Things Out

Charlie is learning to do all kinds of new things. A few if her most recent discoveries are that she can open and close our pantry door and she has learned to crawl! We hope the next thing she learns is what "No" means. :)

Babies Behind Bars...

A few weeks ago Charlie discovered she could push her bumper pads down and see out of her crib. I think she wants to look at us when she is crying to see if it is working on us. Ryan and I went ahead and lowered her mattress just in case she got brave and tried to pull up on her crib.

Dewey and Norma

A few weeks ago we stopped by to visit our old neighbors. Dewey lived next door to us in Tuscumbia. He was a wonderful neighbor, and Ryan and I have missed him since we moved to Decatur. He and his girlfriend, Norma(who lives down the street),were excited to meet Charlie. Charlie liked meeting them too. They are two of the most precious people I know, and we had a wonderful time catching up with them.
